PAT CURTIN
FOUNDER/ CEO
Pat founded Point Sur Consulting in summer 2020 to follow his passion of connecting emergency food ecosystems with cutting-edge technology.
His work in emergency food began at the Food Bank for New York City in 2008, where he spent 8 years developing award-winning programs for emergency food providers. One such program includes the Tiered Engagement Network (TEN), the nation’s first closed-loop referral software designed for emergency food providers.
In 2016, Pat joined the Chicago-based start-up NowPow to continue his work designing technology implementations at community-based organizations. He managed NowPow’s data maintenance and community engagement organizations, leading a team of 30 researchers responsible for updating a resource directory of 50,000 social service providers.
Pat lives with his partner Amanda in Humboldt Park, Chicago, where she puts up with his obsessions with food and efficiency.
